On a side-note, I couldn't help but notice that Dragon Quest Swords Wii was released in Japan last week and sold over 300,000 copies in its first week! Meanwhile Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the DS has sold over 600,000 copies in its first month in Japan.

The Japanese are crazy for Dragon Quest games, that's probably why. It was no doubt the price cut was going to boost sales, it'll be nice to see the sales when the 80 gig comes out.

What W_R said is true. Japan <3's DQ. Isn't there a law that new DQ games can't be released on a working day because people blow off work to go get the new DQ games? Anyway, nice to see an increase in PS3 sales.

Well, the sales may have spiked this week, but I still think its a bit too pricey for my tastes.

I can't wait for the new DQ.

I think we get DQ Swords early next year.
