i beat the game Assignment Ada which gave me the Chicago type writer gun. When i start a new game either on the original or sperate ways i don't see it.?????????? Help??????????

You don't get it at the start. You have to play through till you see the merchant the first time. Then you can buy it for 1,000,000 pesetas. So make sure you complete the treasures before selling them. You also can buy the infinite launcher for the same price. You usually need to play through a good part of the game again before you can afford either one. Beat the mercenaries game with 5 stars on all 4 areas with all characters and you get a .50 hand cannon(infinite). Thats the best gun in the game.
And keep in mind, if you beat assignment ada. That only unlocks the typewriter in a seperate ways clear file. You have to beat seperate ways in order to get it in the main game. And you need to keep your main game files seperate from the seperate ways file. You need to actually have 3 seperate save files to have everything unlocked in the game. One for the main game on normal mode(clear file). One for seperate ways(clear file). And one for the main game in professional mode(clear file).

Im confused, i beat the game and i saved over the file i used to beat the game, i have all my weapons and money etc but will this work with the other modes?

Yea, when you beat the game, you can save over your old save file. It keeps track of how many times you played through. But if you were to play seperate ways, beat it, then save over your main game file. You would lose all your stuff for the main game. Because after you saved seperate ways, when you would try to load that file again you can only load another round of ada. Your only other option would be to start a new game, thus losing everything you earned in the main game. I think I know what i'm talking about but, at this point, I think i'm confused too. Does that make any sense?

I played 16 hours straight of this game. And loved every minute of it.

i haven't beaten this game, it scares me!
