Might not seem like much, but I'm sure our Aussie friends will really enjoy this.
I've never heard of any of those people.
We'll have to get Lemon's comment, because perhaps they're aussie groups.
Sony, you phail. The only reason you've made them free is its the only possible way people will consider downloading them. No one would pay to download that sort of music, that's for sure.

Nice try though. Need to put a bit more effort in next time and choose good music.
So Lemon your saying that Nintendo and Microsoft let you download free music videos with the Wii and 360? If I would have known that then I wouldn't have thought this was so nice for Sony to do.
No they don't. But it doesn't matter when what they do offer is trash music. Then again, maybe someone besides pre-teens actually like top 20 trash music. Who knows?

I don't see general gamers having interest in this though. They need to expand beyond "popular" music. Because "popular" music is disgusting.
Then maybe we shouldn't complain about how Nintendo and Microsoft have left Australia behind when it comes to gaming. You don't have to like the music videos, but you don't have to thumb your nose at free things that no one else is giving you other then Sony Smile
Sony could give me all the Australian music in the world and I'd still brush it off. I don't mind that Nintendo and Microsoft aren't doing this. Seems unnecessary.
I wish Nintendo and Microsoft would give us free music videos in the states...I'd go for that.
MS has that artist of the month thing where they let you d/l their latest music video free. i think previous AotM'ers remain in the marketplace for quite a while too before theyre removed. recently, mcdonalds hooked up with MS to d/l the movie Austin Powers free for a limited time. advertisers are always doing stuff like that. i didnt even know about the mcdonalds thing until a friend told me about it.
very interesting, I wish some of that MS good will would rub off on Nintendo.
I wish Nintendo's low price and quality games would rub off on Sony. But hey, we don't always get what we want. Correct?

Well anyway, you couldn't exactly download movies or music onto the Wii as it is, not enough anyway. Even so, it isn't really necessary. Wii is about gaming, let the other two worry about unnecessary media things.
How soon our opinions change:

All the consoles are lacking interesting points at the moment, but yet are still selling.

Its VERY good to see the PS3 on the mood. I hope they can scare Nintendo into DOING something rather than sitting there crying about how they don't think the Wii is selling enough.

If at some point all 3 systems to get hard drives, I'd love to see some sort of a artist discovery thing come about where we can hear music and see videos of up and coming bands...free of course with our systems.

This doesn't count as scaring Nintendo, this is just a stupid attempt to appeal to Australian gamers who might by chance like this music. Which I can tell you now, won't be alot.
That's fine, I'm sorry you will not enjoy the music videos. If you'd like to continue this back and forth you can PM.

I think any free content from any console is generally good, even if I wouldn't use it. At least they're making some attempt. Even if it is bad music videos.
