maybe it could be backwards compatible with all Wii games now and then any new Wii games could be developed for the WiiHD (trademarked by NinjaRooster)
then again, I doubt this will happen. I predict by 2009 the new Wii will come out.

I don't go out on launch to buy a Wii just to find out that theres going to be a new revised wii not that far away. I would of just preferred to wait.
Same with me. Although I did not get it on launch day, I waited for a very long time to get one (In a general sense as well as a line), and I would hate for that not to seem like an accomplishment on my part.
VC games are emulation, and Wii and Gamecube games are done through the hardware right? I see no reason why they couldn't have a system that up converts the present games to HD with a more powerful graphics chip.

Even if they are planning on this you can be sure that they won't confirm it until it's almost time for it to arrive. Why would they announce it as being in the works now so that people know something better is coming and hold out until it does come?
An updated graphics wii is out of the question.....the only thing you can hope for is MAYBE dvd playback, and colors.
It probably still won't convince me to get another Wii.

The ORIGINAL gamecube had component video AND digital audio out. The wii is hardly an improvement.
