MGS4 is probably one of the most realistic games I have ever seen on a console. I have not been a huge fan since Metal Gear Solid on the PS1, but this game will bring me back to the fold.

That seems very negative and unfair, Kojima is working on the game, not Sony. (I think...Dont hate me)
Ok so don't start calling me a graphics whore but this game does look really amazing! It really shows off what the PS3 is actually capable off. Stunning! The gameplay also looks sweet.

whoa, what do you mean by that? gameplay, graphics, or both?
From the video I'd say the graphics are very realistic, and even though I know the game play video was meant to show off the game, I didn't think all the reactions by the soldiers were very practical. I'm guessing when the game is released we'll see much stronger AI in the actual game, then the vid.

I just finished The Twin Snakes (MGS1 Remake) for the eighth time last week, and now I'm playing through MGS2 for the first time (€8 preowned in Gamestop, not too bad)

What sets it apart is that it's MGS, and we've seen consistently amazing games through it's lifespan. MGS4 should be the best of the series, and a amazing "end" to the story as we know it.
Funny, because even though MGS1 was a big game considering mass, it wasn't very long, even including cutscenes. The most time you could probably grasp was 10 hours or so

Can anyone tell me how long MGS4 is suppose to be? It looks like there will be a ton of decisions you can make that will not only change up how you play the game, but possibly make it a fairly new experience.

the game overall, i wont dispute. graphically, is a totally different thing.
so your saying that your not impressed with the graphics in MSG4? We'll just have to wait and see when it comes out. I think it will be a masterpiece, just like how RE4 was for the GC.
