Nintendo America head honcho Reggie Fils-Aime has hinted that big surprises are in store for Wii owners this September, despite the announcement of a Check Mii Out Channel at E3 Reggie commented that there are still plans. He boasts the surprise is coming by the end of September and claims you will all like this surprise
Finally, Wii owners can get a good night sleep. In this video Reggie, when asked about WiiConnect24 features, replies "They're coming". And I must say how much I really do enjoy surprises, but I'm just hoping it's not just a stupid "surprise early announcement" of WiiWare, or anything quite as ridiculous as that.
Another thing about this interview is the last question that the interviewer asks. "Super Smash Bros. (Brawl), that's online right?" Reggie just does his trademark smile and stares the interviewer in the eyes.
I don't really have much information to comment on here, so I'll let you guys voice your opinions.
This makes me feel weird by the fact Reggie didn't say yes to Brawl being online....Very weird. Im kind of excited to see we will be getting a nice suprise by the end of september.
Oh please, SSBB has to be online (unlike Metroid) it isn't a single player game. It gets its lifespan from multiplayer. That being said, it'll last long with just offline multiplayer but Nintendo would be stupid not to push it as an online title. I mean really stupid.
Remember our last surprise that was around Christmas last year....We got Mario on VC...
I'd like to see the Wii change it up during holidays. Give us some better backgrounds or maybe something as stupid as the Mii's throwing you a Birthday Party. Anyone who had Sonic the Hedgehog on the Dreamcast knows it can be done, because Sega was doing that type of thing years ago...through dial up (for me).
SSBB better be online. I mean for God sakes it's been being talked about for how long and yet Reggie couldn't just say yes? I'm starting to get a little scared.
