You may have spotted a rumor making its way around the net about Super Smash Brothers Brawl at E for All. While we hope the rumors are true that Smash Brothers Brawl will be playable at E for All and that Masahiro Sakurai will be in attendance, Nintendo has not finalized their plans with us and we have no information confirming this. These are questions best answered by Nintendo at this point.

As far as the email that was found circulating the internet from a “Mark James”, we don’t employee anyone with that name.

I assure you that your interest in playing this title at E for All has not gone unnoticed.

This is somewhat worrying news for people attending the E For All event this year, including our own linkszelda, D4rkDrago0n, Nomad, and z6joker9. While Super Smash Bros. Brawl didn't make much of an appearance at the E3 Media and Business Summit this year, many hoped that by October Nintendo might have a demo version of the game for consumers to sample at the event in the LA Convention Center.

This reporter believes that E For All is the perfect place to showcase the eagerly anticipated title. The reasons are quite clear; the people there are going to be gamers pure and simple, it is a busy, but quiet event in which everyone can give their say, and most important, there will be minimal numbers of journalists there, as that was the main focus of the recent E3 Expo.

i hope it's at e for all. i want to see some real game play videos and want someone to try to wavedash and be like "OMG, teh WD iz bak!!!"

I hope it's there, that way we can see it in action. That would mean we get to see the mysterious character select screen

Honestly, if they don't allow us to actually play the game hands-on at EfA, I won't be too upset. Sure, I'll be a little sad, but if they don't have a playable demo, then they'll probly have some other new stuff for us to oogle at. New trailers, new gameplay footage, the opening movie, a show featuring someone playing through parts of the game, a person showing off some gameplay demos...

Even if I can't touch it, I'd still be happy just looking. It would most definitely make my anticipation levels rise, but I'm sure I can handle it. ^^

If it is playable, I can expect we'll be queueing for like a day to play it for 5 mins. (á la halo 2 at the last games expo I went to)

it should deff be at E for all...i need to see some new videos of that game. i hate when nintendo keeps u drooling like this lol

I hope it is playable to but what ever it is i expect some nice vids from the Wiiloadians that are going.

I don't care whether its playable or not. It doesn't affect me.

it would be nice for it to be playable, but since I probably aren't going it doesn't affect me too much. Then again we could get some new gameplay videos and hands on with the new controls.
