Exactly, theres a chance it may damage the series name... but then again theres a chance Brawl could. But its just they may not feel comfortable releasing it on a handheld... who knows, all that we do know is that they have not announced any plans and I'm happy with that.
I predict that ssb may not come out on the ds 'till they're done with ssbb.
i think ssb on the ds would be a basic clone of the n64 version with extras...

Lets keep Super Smash Brothers on consoles shall we? One new one is plenty.
There is such thing as too much of a good thing, so I think leave SSB on consoles and leave it away from handhelds until they think they can make a kick ass version for it.
But I think nintendo will make a kick ass version.
they should make it completely secretive - and be making it for several years - until a month before release they go "oh by the way we made ssb for ds" at the end of an interview

I haven't voted either, because I'm still split... I'm too worried they'd screw it up... but it'd be interesting to see. But it is safer not to know.
