SSB would be cool but it would be better on a console

maybe so, but the idea of being able to play SSB on the go, is really cool. plus if they ever did make a SSB on the DS, i would be wi-fi.

Of course it'd be WiFi... it'd be pretty lame if we had to go from SSBB with WiFi to an SSBDS without WiFi... I'm sure there'd be some cool features. But overall I wouldn't really be incredibly excited about such an announcement.

I think the DS version would include some characters, stages, and gameplay features that were scrapped either b/c of time constraint or lack of mainstream popularity. So more than likely it would probably be a cult classic like Earthbound.

Yeah but with a game like Smash Bros. multiplayer is the main ingredient.

I have a feeling that SSB on the DS would be a Jump! Superstars ripoff...

I'm not saying that I don't wanna see it on the DS, but if they did, then they'd probably just make it an add-on for J!SS.

Jump! Superstars isn't available in the U.S. sadly b/c different companies own the anime versions of those manga.

Alas, tis the truth...

All that means for me is more illegal downloads.

P.S. Did you here about the GC version that's coming out

what another SSB game on the GC. impossible. the GC's lifespan is getting smaller and smaller by the day. recently announceds games like DK Bongo Blast and Super Paper Mario were said to be released on the GC this fall have been ported to the Wii for a 2007 release. trust me when i say there are new GC's games coming out. at least any good ones. where did you even here that?

Yeah, he's talking about Jump! Superstars, the fighting game where an anime fan's ultimate battle can unfold. Can Naruto take on Goku? What about Ichigo (Bleach) and Kenshin Himura? It's all up to you!

It's Ok I should've been more clear. Just head over to gamespot.com it should be in the gamecube section.

By the way maybe the SSB DS could have an adventure mode where you chose a group of different fighters to aid you on certain missions. And how much they help you on that mission will depend on their attributes like Pikachu= fast, Dk= power, etc.

sorta like the receont X-mens. i think would rock, but woild take a little then other SSB games to make

Or they could just come up with a smash adventure game.
