BRUSHES

http://project-gimpbc.deviantart.com/ - Lots of brush packs converted by Droz and Fencepost from PS. Be sure to thank them and the original artists Wink

DA is of course, good for other brush packs as well, just not so well organized. Toungue
I used to, but I prefer Paint.net now. It's not like I do much graphical design though (many members here do). I'm sure you'll find some fellow gimp users.
I used to use it in the past before I got PSP (not the Sony handheld...).
i use to before i got ps. i sucked with it
I'm a PSCS3 and Fireworks CS3 guy now.

I did use gimp back before GIMP2 though ^_^
I use Gimp. Great free program. Big Grin
I use it, has a lot of support if you have problems with it too.

I can't tell you how much of a lifesaver that portable version has been.

I carry a little 512 USB drive in my pocket. I've had countless times where i'm at a family member's house and i'm bored. I'll pop it in, and throw together something. I've put out a lot of decent sigs doing that. haha
Really Happy

I am a GIMP user, when i feel like it anywaysToungue

Gimp sig
VVVVVV
I downloaded it.. and I am completely confused. Can someone help me? PM me if you can.
*updated first post for extra lazy people*

Requesting a title change (unless I can do it myself)

edit: yep. I love how this forum actually trusts its members to be able to change thread titles and delete own posts :X LFMAO
shhhh, don't tell people that >.>

I used gimp, but before I even got around to figuring out how to use it, I got PS :p

I hear Paint.NET is better, but I haven't tried it myself.
OH! I didn't see this before...yeah, I just downloaded GIMP and the help files didn't install right...and for whatever reason still won't. So I need a little help getting used to the program seeing as I just upgraded from MS Paint. Anyone up for it?
I run Linux Ubuntu since 3 years, I can't handle The Gimp... finally, I could emule Photoshop and Imageready. Imageready goes a bit slow and sometimes it freezes for a while (defreezes itself) but I'm so happy now.
Yeah, I finally got Photoshop cuz GIMP's too complicated...
Do you use linux too?
