Impossible Mission is one of the WiiWare titles and recently some images have surfaced of that game. Since images of this title appeared, it's likely that we'll see WiiWare start this year.
I see it as Wiiware has started already, I think the metroid things recently released are the start of wiiware's downloadable content. Soon maybe it will get its own channel but for now it is in the shop channel I suppose.
It could be, Reggie did say for us to expect a surprise by the end of September.
I was hoping for new games, but it's a start. And heck, they're new to me.

I didn't think all would be originally developed games made for WiiWare. I expected some to just be web flash games. But why buy those ones when you can play it for free on the internet or even the Wii Browser.

they are not free, they are just like Virtual Console Games, you will need to spend points....I really want Nintendo to make us EARN points by playing games, by reaching hard to reach places in games like metroid Prime 3, by reaching the top ten in Strikers Charged...at least 100 points...

Yes, I am also hoping for something similar to achievements (for Xbox) that rewards us with WiiPoints. Would definetly be revolutionary.
The games won't be free and the only game I know or have played on the list is Dinner Dash. I've played it on just about everything imaginable and a new version or port on the Wii doesn't interest me. I think this kind of game would be much harder using the Wii to point than using a mouse. Some games are just better with a keyboard or mouse.
Next they'll be coming up with games called "who poop last?!"
