I can't seem to find the option to turn off email notification on subscribed threads. I keep receiving emails for new replies to threads which I don't want. Any advice?

I never subscribe to threads so I'm not exactly sure, but I took a quick look around the User CP and couldn't find it either. PM D4rk. He should know. If he doesn't, may God help us all.

I have an idea that may or may not work. Go into User CP, go to edit options, and make sure the "Subscribe to the threads I post in" box is unchecked.

Theres an option to turn it off, I got at least 300 Emails a day when I didn't know how too turn it off.. 200 of them were from LPTPHW ... worst mistake subsribing to that thread.

But I want to subscribe to the threads. I just dont want the emails.

I'm thinking that maybe we overlooked that option.

Seriously? Go check out how WiiChat handles subscribed threads in the usercp. It shows any subscribed threads with new replies in bold making it easy to respond to others without spamming up your mailbox.

Its sorta like this page http://www.wiiloaded.com/usercp.php?acti...scriptions which is also a quick way to see if anyone replied to you but not as easy as on wiichat.

Okay... yes, you can add to favorites as opposed to subscriptions. However, it's not exactly "easy". In the footer, you'll see:

You can click on this and it will show up in your favorites folder in the User CP.

D4rk, is there any way to make a little checkbox like we have for email notification, enable it by default (with an option to remove it), and an easy link to favorite threads? Of course, this will probably go with our next update, unless it's really easy to do.

BTW, if everything goes as planned, our next update may contain an even better method of favoriting threads. As always, though, we are quite hush hush about it

Adding to favorites is sort of the same thing but not all of the threads I reply to are my favorite and having an extra step just to see the replies means I probably wont do it.

I'm happy to know the feature was missing. I thought it was just my stupidity kicking in! I almost sent all the wiiloaded emails to my trash (losing the ability to receive PM notification)

Try signing up over on wiichat and see how the subscribed threads automatically show up at the top of your control panel when they have been responded too.

No Cipher is not a dupe. I am also no longer banned but have had little interest in posting.
