The list we were given to choose from was extremely barren. To not have Contra or Castlevania: SotN on that list is a crime against top gaming lists. Tecmo Super Bowl is the best football game ever made imo, not Madden '07. Kid Icarus, any of the many GBA/NES/DS Castlevanias (as well as SotN), GT, Pitfall!, Punchout!, Eternal Darkness, NBA Jam, NBA Live '95-ish, NHL '95-ish, Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat II, Ken Griffey Presents MLB, Worms, Oregon Trail, Minesweeper, etc., etc., etc.... At least my top 3 were on the list: (in order) Super Metroid, Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time.
The base list should have started with EGM's top 250 (or was it 100?)games of all time, then included IGN's games that didn't make EGM's, and finally added your personal picks, but I'll work with what we're given.
