GameDaily posted their list of the Top 10 Best Games for the Rest of 2007. Nintendo will see 60% of these games on Wii and DS. Could it be a more exciting time to own a Nintendo system? Here’s a run-down of the Top Ten.

Good list. I don't think Wii Fit was said to come out this year. Maybe it was and I missed it.
Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, and BioShock should be on the list IMO. Scratch Madden and the two music games.

3rd Party games should be a lot better next year, as for Nintendo they have Starfox, Donkey Kong, Animal Crossing, F-Zero, Kirby, and new IPs that could be in development right now.

But yeah, Metroid is top 3 material, more so than Brawl.

No three games alone make a great lineup for a console. The Xbox 360, for example, has its own "big three" (Halo 3, Mass Effect, BioShock), but then also has at least a dozen other killer games coming out in a similar timeframe (GTA4, Assassin's Creed, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Too Human, Burnout Paradise, CoD4, etc.) Wii doesn't have any other big titles beyond those three, so what do Wii owners do for the other 9 months of the year?

The thing is, this thread is based completely around the list like it's fact. It's just Gamedaily's minuscule opinion which apparently almost no one agrees with. Especially not me. They left out some major games for GH3 and Madden. >.<

we'll be quite fine thank you, let me get all the great games that are coming out this year before i worry about 08
but since you asked-with mario kart and wiifit to kick things off plus EVERY developer who came a little late to the (third) party catching up with the dominant console of this gen...2008 is gonna be pretty sweet indeed
You mean just like the 3rd party developers made a difference this year? Sure they have games, but 90% of them are garbage.
like i said...most devs. were surprised by the Wiis dominance, and came too late to the 2007 party, now firmly on board, the titles will come out in bunches, it just took a year to get caught up
think it will be very similar to the quality and quantity of DS games coming out now...some good, some great, some classic, some crap,
The problem with "the Wii finally catching up" as far as games go is that they're springing a huge amount of games on us so late in the year...and I want them all (a lot of people do). The problem is that I know I won't be able to play them all and/or buy them even. :/ Nintendo needed to think ahead of time and get some of their bigger games spread throughout the year instead of exploding all of them on us at once. Sure it's better for sales (which is all they care about), but sometimes I miss the more thoughtful, customer friendly Nintendo.

IMO, gh3 and cod4 should be up higher.....super mario galaxy beating halo 3?.....lol
