I'll dig up the evidence some time, remind me tomorrow. For now just take my word that the voice actor for Marth was definitely confirmed (and for him only, not for Roy or Ike as well; this voice actor was for Marth only).
That doesn't mean anything. Sakurai has said nothing about SSB voice actors thus far who will be taking up their former roles again. If its from IMDB it doesn't count.
Sacred Stones was not well received to my knowledge. So I never really thought it would get a character.

Even if Roy or Marth is replaced, it should be certain that Ike will have similar playing style and playing controls, so it wouldn't be all bad..
Marth should return. Roy, I guess might be gone. Which blows, he is manly. I guess Ike will have to do though.
Ike isn't going to be a Marth or Roy, I swear if I have to say it again I'll spam it into everyone's mind so they won't forget. Sakurai said he's working on making characters different, neither Marth or Roy have the move "Aether", and they both don't have a sword that big. Believe it or not, the size of his sword is what determines his moves.
Okay, well I didn't actually say in that post that Ike would be like Marth or Roy. I was merely stating that Roy will probably be gone and Ike will have to suffice as a replacement FE character.
Though I see no reason for Sakurai to not include both Marth and Roy and give FE a 3 character appearance. It has after all had 10 games.
Hammy was the one that said that he'll have similar playing style.
Having a sword =/= having the same fighting style as someone else with a sword.
As for Marth and Roy, more like Marth and Sigurd. Sakurai wanted to put him in Melee but didn't (as everyone knows). Now if they got a 4-5 character representation then Roy should be in JUST because he was in Melee. You can't use him as advertisement anymore.
Ideally.
Marth (bought Fire Emblem franchise into the world)
Sigurd (first FE lord in SNES title besides Marth's game)
Roy (bought Fire Emblem to the GBA platform. imo Sword of Seals > Blazing Sword + Sacred Stones)
Ike (bought Fire Emblem to the 3-D world)
That would be a dream line-up.

First Lord, Coolest Lord, GBA Lord, 3-D Lord. That would be the ideal team. Throw in a girl/heavy character, and you have a complete FE representation. =D
Ew @ Lyn. I don't like Eirika much but even she > Lyn. As a matter of fact, to keep the blue hair trend going, I recommend Eirika, but of course Ayra > Eirika. We'll just have to wait and see how FE is represented. =\

I totally agree. If they are secret characters then I'd rather them remain a secret until I unlocked them. I know that Snake is a big selling point for some people but can you imagine playing and without knowing he popped up to challenge you? You'd probably crap yourself or at least get really, really excited.
Im a little late on this but I am very happy about Ike's appearance.
