Yeah i noticed that and fixed it.
Just like Baron, only my vid card is the 8600 GTS... who knew there was such a big gap between the 8800 GTS and mine...

Yeah, my vid card is the only thing that kept me down, and I havn't even had that for a year and it was close to the top when i bought it last january or february........maybe i should just fork out the cash for an 8800. Oh well i'll see how well crysis runs with my current setup.
Edit: Damn I didn't realize that the recommended vid card for Crysis costs almost $400, thats freakin insane.

I'll probably wait for the 9-series GeForce or maybe wait for AMD to pull their fingers out and release a beast of an ATi Card
Yeah i'll probably wait till I build another pc in a year or 2, and by then the 9 series should be out. I don't know to much about ATI cards though, i've mainly used nvidia.
ya, ATI's new "HD" line-up is crap.
That's why I switched to Nvidia.
I am playing the demo right now, and it seems it defaulted to medium settings for me and still..............the graphics are.......Wow..........freaking wow!!!!! They are still incredibly amazing on medium. I can't imagine what it would be like to be able to run it on very high settings

or wait for the 9800GTX

Medium setting s should suffice for a year.

Lol the best part is when there was an emplaced machine gun on a patrol boat firing on me and it freakin cut down the tree i was hiding behind! So then i go decide to jump into the water, swim to the boat, switch my nano suit to strength and jump onto the boat grab the driver in a chokehold and throw him into the gunner

I think I mentioned that before, the environments are extremely destructible and useful, I.E make a house collapse on someone that start throwing the rubble left at others.
The tree feature is pretty neat.
Yeah it is pretty damn awesome. Starting to wonder what it will look like on a dx10 system.
