So after Close's thread about making a Graphics Group it gave me the idea for a Musicians Group. As you may know some WL members such as M@gic, Angel, and myself enjoy playing video game music. I am sure there are some other great musicians out there.
Be sure to leave some feedback for the idea.
It's a cool idea, but what would be the qualifications for it?
And what exactly would they do?
Well I was thinking we could share songs and have tutorials for songs that we know. In fact Magic may have a video of him where he plays all of these video game songs. That could also be included.

Sounds good. I've been learning to play video game music on my sax for a while. I play by ear.
However, I don't know how many people have software/hardware that can record things from outside on their computer. I know what you're gonna say: "webcam".
I have enough crap on my computer as it is. I don't need something that I'm not going to use 80% of the time.
It's a good idea, but I'm not sure many people are going to make much of a commitment to it.
I like the idea, but I still don't see why you might need a group.
Ill get a reason to you guys sooner or later after I talk to Magic and Angel.
sounds like a good idea to me. would add some good character and depth to the forums, also make us look like more than just a bunch of nerds
hopefully enough people will enjoy it to really get it going. unfortunately our members tend to pass on things that would really help add to the site

how about choosing different instruments, each play their own part/record.

I might not be able to put up YouTube videos like once a week, since I don't have a digital camera, and because of my computer's recent break-down. (I'm going to borrow my friend's camera/PC, when I can contact him ¬_¬)
But yeah, I could really do this! I would also throw in a tutorial when I have the time to show all the notes.
I don't think we NEED a group (would be cool though xP), but perhaps a section, as Ricky suggested.

Although it would be nice to have such a group, I can't find a reason you'd need one.
unfortunately, although this'd be great, it wouldn't add to the site, so I can't see much of a reason to do it :/
