I dont know if this has happened to anyone else... but my wiimote randomly just starts vibrating and won't stop (when my wii isn't even turned on), i have to take out the batteries tomake it stop. its happened like 3 times so far, has anyone else had this problem?

I have rumble off, and unplug my Wii every night. Mine still hovers above me, and flashes red, so consider yourself lucky. They told me not to use those rechargable batteries...

That's strange, nothing like ever happened to my Wiimote.
It happened to mine aswell when I had a Wii.. I just changed the batteries and voila.

Yeah mine gets up late at night sometimes and makes a snack from the refrigerator. The only thing that bothers me is that afterwards he leaves the toilet seat up.
So maybe it is just the batteries that need changing.
Wow freaky stuff. I don't see how certain batteries would cause the remote to rumble even when you Wii isn't turned on. Scary
my Wii Remotes randomly connect to the Wii, even if it isn't on. And I'm the only one with a Wii in my neighborhood so I know it's not connecting to another Wii...
