has anyone actually had any problems with updating a modded wii?
I wouldn't dare try mod my Wii. If I ever wanted to mod I would get someone with more common sense to do it for me.

It's an update with lots of little things here and there, and yes, i'd really like to change my background menu look.
Mayby they could sell different theme packs on the shop channel for very little points. Or even better give us some free ones.

Or you could take pics and stuff from your SD cards and they'd be like in the background.

Just got done getting the update. I dont know if this happened to anyone else but I had to reset the clock on the menu.
Just go to Wii Settings and go to Calendar. The clock settings are there too. Mine was off as well...
My only complaint about the updates from Nintendo so far is that they always come at like 5 in the morning when I'm trying to sleep! Would it kill them to wait until the friggin sun came up?
The update doesn't do anything to your Wii, it was just a scare tactic.
Besides, it's illegal to purposely destroy a product.

Yup I already did it but thanks. Also they do things by Japanese time. Same with the Brawl updates.
What about Nintendo of America? Couldn't they send the updates themselves? I guess not...
Are you sure they do the brawl updates with Japanese time? I always thought they were a few hours ahead of America? I always see the updates around 12.

Haha ya. If I want to see the update as soon as it happens I have to stay up till 3 AM so most of the time I dont.
this updates supposedly allows limited use for USB keyboards. it doesn't work in the actual internet part, but apparently it works in the wii shop channel and stuff. so maybe in the near future they'll have full compatibility with the internet and stuff. i don't have a USB keyboard to try though. yall should try it and see if it works.
