hm...i wonder...
when i play any portable system, i always have it tilted so i can see the screen best. i wonder if they could make the system to allow you to calibrate what "normal" would be in terms of angle and tilt and such. i can never hold anything straight (i had some issues with RollGoal in TP) and i'm always moving (sitting still while playing a game is so...not me) so i'd have tons of trouble with this.
it's a great concept, and would be truly amazing (i'd definitely pick one up)...i just hope they take some things into consideration when developing. i'm sure i'm not the only one that can't hold things straight and steady...
Ya, I always have to have it tilted in the perfect angle.
This sounds like the stupidest handheld addition I've ever heard of, when they announced the wiimote, me and my cousin where contemplating if they would incorporate motion sensing into the next handheld. We quickly realized that would be a stupid idea.
Handhelds are for traveling thus, motion sensing would be out of wack, you'd break eye contact if your swinging the handheld around... assuming the screen is still on the handheld xD and, this would be a pretty expensive addition to a handheld, if they wanted it to work right, otherwise woul'd have a pretty out of wack motion sensing equipement in there. (Those in the wiimote wouldn't be enough, those motions are quicker, and bigger then one would hope to have on their handheld)
So, no, this is a horrible idea, its either not going to work, or its going to be super expensive trying to work out the bugs, or very few of the games would even implement the motion sensing in their games at all.
Confused? what good with the motion sensing do..?
nothing ask PS3 what it does

Hm.... thanks for the bump WL...this looks....interesting to say the least.
It would be okay I guess, but like Rawr said, it sounds like you'd not be able to look at the screen for a second. WW:twisted was good and all, but could you really tack motion sensing onto every genre? Handhelds support d-pad/button games for a reason.... platformers, both the 3D and side-scrolling varieties would take a hit.
Eh, I ramble and digress wayyy too much. Overall. tiny connected screen + motion = no
wasnt there a game that utilized tilting and turning the GBA before?
i cant remember what it was...
What happens when you try to play on a bumpy bus?
your character (or ball?) would probly jump or fall over (shame on them for not holding on!). i guess you should be careful of ledges while on the move...
Edit for pesticide: the DS has a few games that do take advantage of motion...Kirby's Tilt and Tumble, and WarioWare Touched i think it was. there are probably a lot more, but those are the two i know of.

Wario Ware Twisted, or something like that
