XNA, as many of you know, is basically a set of tools used to develop games for the Xbox 360 or Windows PC. Today it was announced that XNA is now compatible with the Wii Remote for games that are developed for the PC. Sadly, 360 games have yet to get the Wii Mote treatment...

Sounds cool. I wonder when and if 360 developed games will be Wii Remote compatible...

this is pretty cool. this definitely benefits MS.

seems like theyre jumping the gun on nintendo to the homebrew scene.

im curious to see what kind of results this yields.
Homebrew will really benefit from this. But I wonder if this will give Microsoft any ideas about creating a peripheral similar to the Wii remote. Kind of like what Nintendo envisioned with the GameCube.
What is..XNA?
This is awesome.

two of teh best consoles in one!
Anything is wiimote compatible as long as you know bluetooth and various other scripts Smile

XNA Game Studio

From what I've read on the site, it's a C# compiler with frameworks for the Xbox 360, and Windows Live.net Vista game development. As with Visual Studio 2005, and most likely 2008, it comes in Express and Professional editions, although I don't know if these express editions are free.

So Ive heard....

This should make things interesting...
