Imagine if you could play a MMO on the PS3, and then let's say you had to go to school or work (preferably taking the bus) and could actually take your game with you on the PSP. Sure the image quality wouldn't be nearly as good, but I think this is something that has real potential.

Recently NCsoft the company that brought us City of Heroes, has been talking about the possibility of just that...playing a MMO on your PS3 and taking it on the road with your PSP.

Sony has recently announced that some version of HOME will be seen on the PSP, so what NCsoft is proposing is possible. I think something like this could be huge, and even if you only had limited functionality with the PSP and your game, it's still better then what we have now.

Would something like this not require a good wi-fi connection wherever you go?

you are correct, but if that 700mhz gets bought up by google or someone, then we might just get that good wifi signal wherever we go

i really think psp's wireless range needs to be vastly increased

Let's say you could buy both a PS3 version of the game or even download it from PSN, and then have the same game for the PSP using it's technology, and just being able to use the same stats, weapons, and cash from each other games interchangeable where they'd be stored online on a server?
