If you want FPS games, buy TimeSplitters, if you don't like what the Wii has to offer, buy a PlayStation 3, TimeSplitters 4 should be coming out for all 3 consols in 09' hopefuly.
And if your hopeing for M rated games for the Wii give up, Nintendo already said they woudn't do hardly any M rated games.

I sold my Zelda, because i'm just not into that type of game, now I only have Wii Sports, Pokemon and TimeSplitters 2, by the end of the year I should also have Need For Speed Carbon, Need For Speed Pro Street, SMG, SSBB, Metroid and Maybe TimeSplitters Future Perfect, but it's rated M so i'm not sure how i'll get it.
When did Nintendo say that? I think you may be confusing their stand on AO titles. NMH has a good change of being M rated and there's already several M rated games out for Wii.
I guess it must have been for the AO stuff, but I think I heard somewhere hat they wouldn't be makeing as many M rated games, but still makeing them.
Im one the people who are actually loving the games out at the moment. I have 13 Wii games and three quarters of them I love. The rest are average. I can't wait for more!

I believe Nintendo wouldn't make a lot of M rated games, but it would be really cool if they did. I would expand their market. Despite what they said they'll do, it has no effect on what the third party devs do.

Maybe if they wanted to appeal to the older audience, not just moms and dads, maybe then they'd make more M rated games.
The only reason I only have 3 games as of now is because I don't have alot of money, but my Birthday is coming up so, so I should atleast get 2 more games, but then again i'm getting a TV for my room to, so I dunno.
Excite truck would be awsome online, thats my favourute wii game and 1st wii game i beat. It needs computers too.

I know ssbb mps and smg are comming out, but smg doesnt even look good to me, i think the only reason its gonna sell is cuz mario is in it. mp3 does look good but since it doesnt have online multiplayer, i donno if ill get it, i dont feel like playing any more huge single player games(probalby still rent it cuz samus is awsome). ssbb is the only game im actually looking forward too. I hate all the other games comming out for the wii. there all party games or games aimed for casual gamers. Im hoping timesplitters comes to wii but they never confirmed that, and i hope the new medal of honor game has online multi player.

Why doesnt nintendo or some third party make a new good fps game for wii, there is such a high demand for it, and if it plays well and controlls are good then it's sure to be a success considering the lack of fps titles to compete with

Wait let me get this right in my head. A hardcore gamer is someone is a dedicated player and plays for hours on end. Well I do exactly that, some times I play for up to 16 hours straight, but I play more of the casual games aswell as hardcore games. What does that make me?

Wii sucks at the moment.

Metroid Prime 3 will be its saving grace for 2007 (It will no doubt feature a more mature single player than Mario, and who the eff cares about multiplayer in a game that was MADE for SINGLE PLAYER purposes originally)

The party games annoy me, but hey? Companies like making quick cash with little effort. Which is where those party games come in, also mediocre ports squeeze in there too.

*goes back to playing Metroid Prime 1*

it seems the term 'hardcore gamer' now only refers to those who play 'serious' and 'mature' games that have 'depth'

this includes the countless First Person Shooters on the 360, the halos, gears, etc.

although to me you would definitely be a hardcore gamer it seems the term has been highjacked to those bloodier games only...

Some of the games, such as Cooking Mama, can be a whole lot of fun when you are playing with friends, but I am sure that a wider selection of games will become available as time goes by.
