well they werent crap persay. we initially started off with like 10 mods. then droped down to 5 and now we're down to 2......so yeah they werent crappy mods, they just disappeared off the face of the earth some of them. the ones that remained were great mods.

wiichat just came to an end like you said because the admin didnt acknowledge us anymore so we sufferend and we jumped ship bottom line. most of the moderators know from me what has happend and we've all talked about the improvements on the site and what we can do about it.

also it wasnt just ireland and the whole potatoe famine epidemic that made them come to NYC to elis island. my relatives came here too as refugees from romania <3 but i see where youre going with this

On Topic: Its depressing that i0n just up and left. I never really got to meet him but he seemed like a really nice guy. He had a good thing going with WiiChat and I'm confident that if he were still there we all would be too...

Maybe he died? I know it sounds mean, but we don't know...

It would be interesting to see if he could turn things around if he came back. And if so, how many people would return to WiiChat.

No, he logs into all three forums (Wii PS3 and 360 Chat) almost daily, he just doesn't do anything.....

The reason I left is because for every good member there are 500 n00bs. There are more people that I know posting here than at WiiChat now. And one super mod can't moderate the whole forum. I think there is a regular mod still around, but he doesn't have hardly any power there. I will probably go back if the admin comes back and tries to fix things up, but that isn't looking too likely.

In all honesty, im at a loss of words right now. They way you all handled this just baffles me. All this talk about i0n. You know what? **** i0n. He's not some god, he's one man. And you all might as well stop praying for him to come back and become "active", because in all honesty hes just gonna get a new pair of mods, and there will be a new batch of posters. It will be as if nothing happened eventually.

But i guess the real point im trying to express here is that, well... you don't leave a forum because one person doesn't give a crap about you, or the community. You don't leave a forum because **** is down, And you definitely don't leave it because a few of your "e-friends" left too.

And it's fine if you want to post at another forum. ****, i post at multiple forums every day. Theres nothing wrong with it. Even i find time to post at every one of them, as much as i might not like about 75% of there users.

All of you just need to calm down. This is not some kind of war, this is the internet. Now what you decide to do from here on is up to you. I'm just disappointed, thats all.

All the reasons have been stated, Wiichat is done. i0n is just a money whore, creating a bunch of websites and raking in money, then leaving. One of our very own WL members may be onto a theory, but it's not confirmed yet.

i0n made this site. the members who have been there UNLIKE YOU since day one care deeply about it. it was their place and it wasnt ment to be turned out this way.

youre even more stupid for bringing it up in this form of discussion. youre not making it any better yourself and youre not helping the situation one bit.

i0n WAS going to have more mods 2 months ago, yeah thats right and everyone knew who was going to be IT since we all made our recomendations as preexisting mods. unfortunitly i0n didnt deliver and here we are, one mod and one super mod left on wiichat to fight off all the n00bs and irresposible posters unlike this forum that we are posting on now.

thats not true one bit. im a mod dude. i told half the veterans of the site what was going on behind the scenes despite the fact that another "unnamed supermod" told me to keep things under wraps. he pretends i0n is comming back and that this is all e-drama but its not. its a failing site and we're all leaving before it crashes with us.

veterans are leaving because they feel that their home is invaded with ignorance and stupidity. the ones that are leaving that joined in say may? they have NO idea what they are talking about so dont confuse US with THEM

i post on a 2387490234 and one forums each day too. but i still was very loyal to wiichat. but now? forget it i abandoned ship and im over it. i0ns lack of presence in staff chat is disgusting and unexceptable. i said it in another thread on wiichat that if he had MY job and was shot in teh line of duty, i can understand him not being on this site for a while.

a lazy college 25 year old kid ignoring a site he created is unexceptable. he should know better and if he logs on every day invisible and everything then hes got one hell of a rude awakening when he decides to show his face

How many bans i have has nothing to do with this. And you really cant control the outcome of a site, theres no certain path it has to follow.

i really didnt want to come off as brash but i was just so fet up by your impressions you tend to leave and it got me all pissed. and yes i do have control, as minimal as it is, of the site. i control the ammount of spam, trolling, adbots, ect. without us mods the site would be doomed and wed be up to our t*ts in spam.  so yes we do have control

we just have an adminstration that doesnt care bottom line.

of course my views will be different though because im observing whats going on and what you dont know. and because of that, i will always have a different impression about whats going on

Meh, ive posted at forums where there were no mods. If there was some 12 year old you didn't like you just flamed them until they left. It def wont work on wiichat, but i'm just letting you all know it can be done.

Edit: i love all of you, lol. It's just that it didn't have to go this way. I just hate seeing people leave a forum just because of a reason like that.
