So what actually happened over at WiiChat to make so many of you leave? I have heard that the living legend himself, i0n, has stopped caring about the site, but I mean, is there anything besides that? Also I've heard besides TLC, most of the moderators were cr4P, is that true?

Well rest assured, we have a very responsible team here, and the spam is very low. D4rkDrago0n is one of the youngest, greatest web developers out there, so you can be sure that WiiLoaded will always look amazing, and will be easy to navigate.

Also, I just wanted to say something, but I don't want to sound unwelcome all the same.

The year is not 1860. You guys aren't from Ireland, and WiiLoaded is not New York City, please don't think this is a refuge from the famine of WiiChat. We are our own community, and we are all friends here, so we hope you genuinely commit here, and I hope we can gain new friends from you guys.

Well it just got a little boring and the only MOD I knew of was TLC..But why does there have to be one or the other? I check both. I just like this layout alot more.

well imo it was basically a domino effect, one member came here, than another, then another, and then that domino hit two dominos, and so on...

allthough some may argue that iOn wasn't taking care of the site, which is true, but i'm not even sure what he could do if he was here. im' still going to be active on wiichat but this site's been mentioned there a large number of times that i just decided to sign up for a wiiloaded account, like i said in another thread on this forum

I explained why I left in a thread of Wiichat, I don't want to say it again.

I've never been to wiichat so i'm sticking around here.

Well, if we had the amount of spam, flamers and just all around imbeciles here on WL, along with no body to update the site (Cheers to Dark), I wouldn't be surprised if people started leaving.

In my opinion, WiiChat is going downhill fast, with no signs of sopping.
Sooner or later, its going to be under the hill. If this keeps up that is.

At one point, WiiChat was a great place. That time has come and gone. i0n basically left with (imo) no intention of returning. He was the only one with Admin powers so basically nothing can be done to solve problems with the actual forum.
The moderators are simply ridiculous. People were banned simply because the moderator disliked them on a personal basis. Multiple accounts were perma-banned (RIP Axtlar). TLC and I didnt kick things off to the best start so, why'll most people would call her a good mod, I am neutral on the situation. She is the only decent mod there, I'll just leave it at that.
From what I've seen D4rkDrago0n has done a tremendous job on this site and its upkeep. I thank him for that.
I understand that it can be frustrating to be thought of as a 'next best thing' compared to WiiChat, but I can assure you that it wont be like that much longer. If i0n does not return, WiiChat will be dead by the end of the year. As of right now I am still browsing the pages of WiiChat, but that is simply because some of my friends have refused to come to WiiLoaded with me.

Reasons:
1. i0n's decided to not post for a month or so/reply to PMs and what not
2. So many noobs, so little time
3. Site wasn't really offering anything new
4. When they did promise something new (to do with Wii codes) it was never given to us.
5. (hopefully if they don't join here) won't have to see some e-people I hated no more

Though I'll probably still go on there (as well) for the next month to see how it pans out. If i0n returns and makes everything cool I'll go on both, though my future seems to be with WL (cheeesaaaay!!!! )
Basically, we're becoming drowned at WiiChat, and suddenly a cruise has come along, so I chose between the 2

I left WC because I joined WiiLoaded on the same day And liked this place more >.> What a wise move that was, lol.

But seriously, my few visits to WC have been... interesting to say the least. I do not like overflowing spam, and if I were mod there I'd go nuts, lol.

i got tired of seeing "i'm leaving" threads in the lounge.... lol j/k

It was a great site, but unfortunately we got flooded with endless amounts of spam and clone threads all asking the same questions. The one or two moderators who actually did anything just couldn't keep up with it all. I don't blame them for it, the site just needs some more active mods.

I don't think of this site as just a refuge from Wiichat though, you guys seem have a lot more to offer. I'm hoping to gain some friends from amongst the "natives" as well.

Well, I think that there is two reasons:

1st - The sheep reason: Imagine a group of sheep, all of them going straight , if a sheep chooses a different path... all of them goes to that path as well (lol... I'm comparing myself with a sheep....) One user came here... one user invited me to come here... I invited 3 users... each of them I'm sure will invited some users each... one of those... OK OK OK, I shut up!!!!!

2nd - Bass reason: I do not wanna to go deep in this... as it is delicate stuff... I only can say that the big boss is ignoring WiiChat... Super admins do awesome work everywhere... but a super admin can't do all... and if the captain of the ship leaves it... it ends sunk... Wiichat is sinking right now...

Lot's of things happened..

People have found out these site too and just relized its the better place due to updated news and staff and such. Natives are cool too.

Except for everybody claiming there leaving, nothing has happened. Just the usually bitching and whining going on in the lounge.
