Today around 5am, Nintendo sent a message to many Wiis asking them to download a Metroid Prime 3: Corruption preview channel. Supposedly it has new video footage of the game to help us get over the game. Nintendo will also be releasing the original Metroid on the 13th followed by the hit Super Metroid on the 20th.Apparently they got wind of us talking about the less-than-stellar hype for the final installment in the Prime Sub-series.

Oh and apparently this is only for Americans since we get the game in a few weeks...which sucks for everyone else.

Also, Nintendo has finally updated the Official Metroid Site to include Metroid Prime 3. In my opinion they should have done this a long time ago but at least they're finally doing it now.

Another Update: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption has once again been delayed. It has been delayed ONE day to August 28. You can see it at the bottom of the Metroid Prime 3 Preview Channel.

I just saw the message myself! Having just updated the firmware I wasn't expecting anything else new yet, but there it is. I'm downloading it right now.

I just got done watching the videos and they were awesome. The first one was just a new trailer and the second was actual gameplay. Two more will be available on th 13th. I LOVE YOU NINTENDO

It is only for NA, because it had this August in both trailers, so I guess you'll get the preview when it's close to coming out there.

well when is Metroid Prime 3 supposed to come out where you guys are?

Well, for Australia I'm hearing estimated dates of November 8th. And if that is the case then Nintendo can go get screwed. They don't deserve to win the console war if they can't spread the love worldwide like Microsoft and Sony (two clearly smarter gaming companies) are doing.

well Metroid Prime 3 isn't a japanese game. It comes from Texas which is where Retro Studios is located. Nintendo of America is probably in charge of getting it to the other countries and they're just dropping the ball.

I just checked it out and apparently it's coming out in Europe on October 26. Aren't they PAL as well? Couldn't you just import the game on that date?

they sure are smart with MS red ring of death on 1 of 3 consoles and sony over-pricing themselves right out of the market

nintendo must have a reason for the staggered rollouts...those of us in NA also wont be getting mario kart in '07 like europe does

Europe will be getting Mariokart in 2008.

Like Nintendo would be generous and give PAL Mario Kart in 07. Won't happen. We'll be forced to continue living this drought.

Good work Nintendo, when this generation is over you can say you did your best in America and Japan. Whilst PAL enjoys their 360's and PS3's due to the Wii's crap support.

I think im getting to the point where I think im going to sell my Wii and import an american Wii and just import my games instead of waiting for months and months longer for the big titles.
