My Wii is making wierd noises, wierd 'CLICKING' noises , as well as shaking up... it only does it sometimes in start up , so im scared , i dont think i have a warranty, BLEH? i dont know, Any ideas whats going on!?
Sometimes people get those random noises. I have had one occasionally. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

unplug it and plug it back in. if that doesn't work, call nintendo.
Mine makes some noises and clicks, but doesn't shake all that much. I'm thinking it's just part of powering up, but you might want to call Nintendo if you're uncomfortable with that.
Wow, Mine Makes Almost No Clicks Now After The Firmware Update.

It might be a bit of a side effect of something. Have you ever inserted anything into usb ports on the Wii? Could have been that, i put the wifi in when i first got it thinking it would work and it kind of screwed up for a while, then wore off. It might go away after a while.
I had those...
But then it stoped playing discs so i sent it in...
All Wiis have a 1 year warrenty so your covered!

I think most of them do make clicking noises......
mine only makes clicking noises if there's a disc in the slot when I start it up.
Same here, it makes clicking noises when I intert a disc or when theres a disc in it when I start it up, nothing to worry about O.o.
Mine constantly rattles when there's a disc in the drive and the game is playing. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong...
Mine doesn't make any clicking? I don't want to shake it..What do you mean by clicking noise? All I can hear (If even) is the cooling fan.
As long as it doesn't seem to have any effect, you should just ignore it.
mine occasionally makes a clicking or whirring sound, but i chalk that up to the disc readers as it only does that when it is loading a disc or would be reading a completely different part of the disc. it seems to do this much more w/ gc games. so i'm not too worried.
well if you registered your wii online you automatically get a warranty from nintendo so yeah just in case anything does happen your are covered

My Wii never does anything like that..thank god.
ditto... although i do have the ? file...
i dont have the ? file :/
WHooaa you too??
I had some similar expirences with my Wii also. Sometimes when I have a game inside it, and I turn the Wii on, then I want to change the game, right after I put the CD in the Wii it makes a weird noise like if it was ranging inside of the Wii.
Those random noises seem to appear with certain games, especially Red Steel. But I don't think that the Wii should be shaking though.
