Hi and welcome to the official Leipzig Game convention.
First and for all i will be giving you some info about this event.

The Leipzig Games Convention was first held in 2002. With 134,000 visitors in 2005, the organization had only expected 165,000 visitors in 2006, but this was greatly exceeded with a total of 183,000 visitors coming to the Leipziger Messe. Now that E3 is being greatly downsized, it is expected that the Games Convention will become even more important in 2007 and beyond.

The Games Convention is usually held in the last week of August. The Games Convention 2007 takes place from August 23 to August 26, 2007. For press members, exhibitors and professionals it starts one day earlier.


The western wings and central hall of the new Leipziger Messe Fairgrounds. The east wings and business center are off-camera to the right. The central hall alone has been described as being large enough to enclose a World Cup Soccer pitch.

FAQ:


Q: Why isnt Nintendo in the line-up list?
A: Because they didnt announce any games until now.

Q: Is Nintendo giving a press conference?
A: No, but they are giving a closer look at the games. The official site says:

"Nintendo is silent"

"No chance to know information. After Nintendo admits gave the fact that there is no press conference in this year communicates to us now the PR agency by Nintendo Of Europe that it will give up to the office as well as no information. Nintendo finds it, is certain already, in resounds to 2, conditions A22."

I would have...LOVED to go. So much info and everything...ugh, i hate missing it.

I expect a lot, yet at the same time i dont. For all the games they're keeping tight lids on - i doubt there'd be more than a sentence or two of new info. it's not a big event for them, and i really do believe that they're holding out for something (hoping....EfA)

but the games they're more than happy to show us - i'm sure they'll show as much as possible to keep eyes away from the other systems.

As for what Nintendo will reveal here, I could have sworn that I heard they weren't announcing anything new. Generally no press conference will mean no juicy news.

Well you could send me xD Leipzig is kind of around the corner compared to your all locations. I live in Germany after all xD. But there's still School and I would have to find a way to get there.
Dunno wether I'll go there or not yet.

It's probably the only way for me to lay my hands on games like SSBB, SMG, BWii, MP3, Mario Kart and all the Other games that you'll get before us Europeans.
