Until they do, the 360 isn't worth anything to me. I don't feel like buying a console that has a reputation for dying constantly and needing to be sent away.
They have addressed it. Last month.
Actually NO. The "new" 360's released with HDMI do not use the Falcon chipset.

They also stated a while back that Falcon would not be here untill late fall...
Does that seem kind of odd if they're suppose to release a new system with smaller/cooler processor and gpu at the end of fall? Don't you think the average consumer may be mislead into believing they're getting the falcon chipset now, because it's rather peculiar to release a SKU and then another one a month or two later...
wii=casual
360=hardcore
PS3=sony fanboys
lmfao you get a rep for this

Say what you will about it, but in a few years the PS3 will be destroying the 360. It has way more potential than the 360 will ever have, a product of Micro$oft racing to get their next-gen console out too fast. Eventually Sony will catch up and surpass it, leaving it and the Wii to duke it out for the rest of the way.
Xbox Live may be better than any other Online service now, but just wait till Sony gets their ball rolling. Their online service, which will be free, will be as good or possibly better than Live. And we have no clue about Nintendo's online service, which could potentially swoop in and kick everyone's ass. (doubt it but then again Nintendo's done stuff like this before)
Anyway, that's just IMO. You don't have to think the same way I do.
For the record, the Wii is the same. Until MP3 of course, that's the first game that'll be worth owning for months. Mario Strikers is meh, Super Paper Mario is good. Twilight Princess should have stayed a Gamecube game.
Most other Wii titles are second-rate movie cash-ins or crappy party games that don't last longer than 5 minuets on your own.
Besides, Microsoft specilised in online on the XBox. So of course its going to be awesome.
