They really aren't that hard to find anyways. Just get them from the right place....espeshially if your in Europe. The GAME and gamestation sites always have Wiis in stock now. Aswell as the stores near me.
Blah. I only saw Wiis on store shelves twice, one of which being when i got it.

It's kind of funny how many people can't have an honest discussion about the Wii or in this case a discussion about how they can't ramp up production because of XYZ.

its also kind of funny how you can editorialize all you want with your pro-sony, anti-wii propaganda but when someone else does it all of a sudden they cant hold a 'proper' discussion

ROFLMAO

Just because a component is not cutting edge does not mean you cannot have a shortage of the component. If Nintendo was releasing information stating that a third party was behind on getting them a component, it has to be true. Why? Because that doesn't help the third party's stock price, and they would refute it if it was just Nintendo trying to build hype.

You have to remember that Nintendo has moved about 10 million units in about 10 months. That's averaging 1 million units per month, or over 33,000 units PER DAY. The Wii has been a breakaway success that even Nintendo did not expect. Does it really surprise you that they are having trouble with at least one manufacturer getting supplies to them?
Maybe they want to produce so much they don't have enough parts? du du dunnnn....
It is times like these that I am so glad that I reserved my Wii console online at a very early stage. But yeah, I hope they start production as soon as possible to avoid any more complications.
They're certainly doing a good job of keeping the hype up, but I don't know where I stand in this matter; people must be getting anxious by now.
