Plus they usually perform better.
Oh and the 8800 is obsolete now XD it's DX10, there is now a DX10.1

How exactly do I make my RAM run on Duel Channel mode?
Ever since I got it I just assumed it would do so by itself xD
and yes, they are the exacte same cards. Came in a 2GB pack.
There are usually 4 memory slots on a mobo. Each dual channel pair runs in a specific set of slots.
For example, I have 2 yellow slots and 2 black slots, I've got 2 identical 1GB memory modules in the yellow slots and another 1 gig in a black slots.
the ones in the yellow slots run in dual channel.
if I had an identical 1GB in the other black slot it'd also run in dual channel mode (but I'm not running a 64-bit OS so more than 3-gigs is pointless)
Your best bet is to check your mobo manual
