well i found on ebay 2 DDR mats for 7.99 that i just picked up. they are for the play station console (ps2 to be exact).

now, if i purchase a PS2 to USB adapter, will it play for the wii when DDR comes out this comming september? rumor has it, it the mats will be for the game cube port (like mario DDR was on gamecube)

saves me from buying aditional mats when i already (or am going to have) 2 mats? right?

let me know! thanks in advance! Smile
From what I've heard/read, I think the floor mats will run off of the gamecube controller ports...
not only did i realize this is not in the right section (should be in gaming) i also realized youre right it is going to be in teh game cube port. hense what i wrote above that it wil be the same like the mario mix

but i dont know if it will be one of those "either or" type deals since many people already OWN mats for DDR on other systems.....would be a huge waste either way 3rd party markets make a profit
I think it might work with a ps2>GC adapter, but probably not usb.

they came out with that DDR game staring Mario towards the end of the GC's life, so maybe you could look around and find some inexpensive matts from that game that will work on the new DDR hottest party.

Oh god that game was gay...

So bad they made a re-call!

Probably not. Did they say if the new Wii one is using the USB or the GC ports? Also, I believe there's a different configuration with PS2, that would likely have different USB communication than a different USB DDR board. Worth a shot though.
HEY! Mario Mix pwns. haha

The pads are $20 and very good quality. They don't slip and whatever. and their first-party. C'mon!

And it was confirmed that the wii will be using the GC pads.

Oh come on!

It was such a ripp off of other games like that and had horrible songs!!

(lol, just for the sake of argument! Toungue)

every DDR game is a rip-off then. lol.

Yeah, the song variety was...sparse to say the least, and downright atrocious to say the truth.

Bowser's Castle FTW! Something about a cutscene of bowser breakdancing makes it worth the 30 bucks.
yeah i IMed joker on MSN and he said to get the PS to xbox /gamecube converter cable. i foudn them on ebay for like 10$ ill just snagg em i think.

i still want DDR mario mix even though its friggen 90$ ew

i found the japanese version but i dont have a modded wii......by the time i spent the money on modding my wii, i should of just bought the american version
$90????????

I got mine for 50....with a pad. For some reason, I can't see you playing DDR...

with $10 converter and $8 pad plus shipping...couldn't you have just bought a guaranteed to work 1st party pad? haha.
Well, I already have 2 mats for gamecube, so not too much of a problem for me...
