...They're releasing 2 games (according to 1up.com). Source
Street Trace: NYC, a hover-board racing game with multi-player and weapons. Could be fun, I dunno [/disinterest]
Space Giraffe however, sounds much more interesting to me. It's a clone (on LSD) of a great classic arcade game: Tempest. For those of you who are too young to remember, Tempest was one of the first vector graphics games in arcades. (You know, those ones that emulated 3D objects with simple wire-frame objects). Basically you were looking down a tube (or sometimes an open-ended field) and the object was to move your "ship" around the top edge of the play field and score points by eliminating the baddies trying to make their way up the landscape towards you. A very simple concept indeed, but quite fun. So, Space Giraffe takes the concept of Tempest and applies a Geometry Wars style flair (brilliant colors and effects, etc). Look for it on the 22nd!
