6 weeks... Why is it taking SO LONG for Microsoft to fix this problem?

My guess would be a lot of people want to send in their 360's now to get repaired before Halo3 whether they need to or not, because they don't want to be in a stage and have the thing possibly crash. Seems that by these bit of genius they might have shot themselves in the foot.

Hopefully MS does a good job weeding out those who actually need repair from those who don't.
