So, I've added 31 codes into my system, but only 6 names are black. I'm sure not all of them have entered my code, but the great majority of them have. My question is, after 3-4 months, they are still gray/grey. Will this ever change, or will I have to re-enter them at some point? Up til now, I really didn't care, but it looks like the Wii online era (however small/crappy) is approaching. Could someone check with nintendo (or get me their email) if no one knows.

If they are grayed out, then someone entered the details incorrectly. Out of the 7 or so pages of friends, I only have one or two grayed out.

are you sure the ones that are gray have entered your friend code? And even if they have, they have to connect their Wiis to the Internet before it changes in your address book.
