It's been almost 7 months since we originally heard
rumors of a Wii version of the PS2 hit, Okami. You'd think that would've been enough time for it to die. Apparantly not.
According to the latest edition of EGM (due Sept. 4th) Capcom is already working on the Wii port with reinvented Wii controls. Normally I'd take this with a grain of salt but EGM seems to be positive that the game is already in development. We'll just have to wait for a confirmation or denial from Capcom.

Anyone who's played this game on the PS2 knows that this would be a perfect game for the Wii. Using brush strokes to control your character and such. Nintendo should work very hard to get this gem in their library of games.

no it's an action-esque type of game, but you'd use the Wii mote as a paint brush to fight, draw bridges for yourself, and other things like that. go to gametrailers.com and check out a video of the game on the PS2.
