I downloaded Loose Change 2nd edition divx and wanted to watch it, but my dvd player does not support the format, so I ended up just watching it on the computer. I checked around and saw that my Xbox could be modified to play divx and do lots of other things.

I personally wouldn't want to Mod my Xbox, but the question is how much should it cost to get buy a Mod chip off of someone and have them install it for me?

Original or 360? I had a horrific time trying to get the 360 to stream divx files from my computer using Vista Media Center and an on the fly transcoder, so I just ended up finding a $45 upconvert DVD player that also plays divx files (phillips at wal-mart) when my dvd player stopped working correctly.
