Nintendo made it clear that they
won't be attending TGS but it seems that Nintendo will still be holding it's own press conference about 2 and a half weeks before the show.
Nintendo will be showing off it's October to December software line up on September 5th. A line up that includes the likes of
Super Mario Galaxy,
Smash Bros. Brawl,
Batallion Wars II, and
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. However, knowing the new Nintendo we'll probably have casual games similar to Wii Fit shoved down our throats. Hopefully this won't be the case because if it is, it would only show that Nintendo has all but completely abandonned the core gamer.
Capcom and Sega will also be holding similar shows. Capcom goes
tomorow, while Sega will be on the 14th of September.

Not a clue. GoNintendo only gave a date, no details. And their source was in German so I didn't get much from there. All I could gather was that Wii Love Golf would be on display.

hm. i wonder what exactly theyll be showing in terms of the majorly hyped games in the lineup. i kind of feel like they'll show a little bit of each, teasing us with information that would lead to huge news, but not quite huge enough to make everyone faint from excitement at this moment.

Thats the thing that makes me mad... BWii has almost no hype... Old school BW fans can't wait for this game because of the awesomeness it had for the first... But then, no one else knows about this game because of lack of hype and marketing...I really really hope they get some sort of hype in there...
hopefully they show some of their hardcore titles and not just stuff like Wii Fit. I personally would like to see Sakurai and Kojima play Super Smash Bros. Brawl against each other using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk and the Wii Remote alone. That would be totally awesome!

Give me some Ridley in Brawl action and I'll go with whatever Nintendo show, even if they spam us with Wii Fit crap.
If I see no new characters in Brawl that I like then I care very little for this show.

Well if Nintendo abandons the hardcore gamers then im selling my Wii. Honestly im extremely dissapointed in their games. The PS3 has more than enough games coming to keep me entertained. I hope all my cash dosnt go to just Sony! I want to see some great hardcore games so I wont think like this!!!

i think they're giving it more hype than BW on GCN. i mean there was an article in the month's Nintendo Power and also ads. i'm still on the fence with this game cause i dont really know much about the series.

I'm sure we will. The game releases in a few months. It didn't get a showing at E3. So why not show a new trailer at their conference? Then unload SSBB info on us at EfA.
