i found this out today when i called Nintendo to see if they can replace my Wii Sports game that wouldnt be read in my Wii. they told me that it'll be $15 and other charges and fees so no more than $20. now i'm wondering if the game is worth it or should i let it be?
no its good for like the first week you get your wii, i havent played it since the 1st week i got it so not worth paying for IMO
If you are meaning is it worth $15 as a game, I would say yes, because if they just sold it seperate and not with the console, it would probably cost about 29.99. If you mean if its worth the $15 to buy another copy, I would say no because its fun at first, then it just gets a little old.
I disagree, and think the game is worth $15 to buy back. Of course WiiSports gets boring if you play buy yourself. However, whenever I have a group of friends over (3 or more) WiiSports is always the hit game of the night.

Just a few nights ago my friends tied two games in a row so they went into a sudden death baseball match (first one to score wins). With the bases loaded my friend hit a grand slam with 'Grandma' (My grandma's mii). This was just after my other friend (who was pitching) was making fun of the mii and calling for an easy out.

We were laughing for atleast 10 minutes straight.
I would say absolutely, because they regularly sell for $40-60 on eBay.  Games are are not sold at retail are some of the best in terms of resell value (like the Gamecube OoT bonus disc you could get for preordering WW).

How much is WiiSports sold for in markets where it is not bundled?  It is consistently a top seller in those areas as it aims for the same market group that the Wii itself is aimed for (non-gamers, etc).  If it had not come bundled, I'm not sure I would purchase it just from looking at videos, but having it already, I can honestly say it gets more playtime than any game in my (large) collection.

I'll also note that you might find older posts here from me concerning this game before the Wii was released, saying that this game would be much more popular than most people can imagine.  This was when people were calling it a cheap freebie that most Wii buyers would toss, and that Nintendo was only bundling it because there was no way that it would sell as a standalone.
I say just wait until Wii Sports 2 comes out, save your money for that
hey, what number did you call? i got used wii that didnt come with wii sports. i still want a copy though
I pick it up every now and then just for kicks. If it didn't come packed in or I had to replace it in your case, I'd definitely buy it for $15 or $20 easily just because of that.
I agree, it's a cheap game, so it comes with the Wii.

1-800-225-3700 - NOA (the second two may be a five) hope you can get it.

anyways like wenis said i was thinking of just waiting for Wii Sports 2, but i dont think it'll have all te same games. anyways i'm thinking i will get it, but later on. its not that important now, plus i got metroid prime 3 right now anyway, and that'll last for a while.

I say buy it if you often have friends over to play with, it can be a great laugh. Along with Joker Wiisports is my most played title. But if you dont have siblings and do not have friends over alot then I dont suggest paying the $15 for it.
I've put more hours into wii sports than I have any other game... including Zelda.  I'd pay $50 for it.

That being said, I'd make nintendo replace it for free unless I was the reason it won't play...

That most likely won't come out.

i use wii sports quite alot actually:/ i would spend that on it
I definately think it is worth it, Maybe not for just yourself but if you ever have friends over or if you weigh 450 pounds and need to lose some weight but can't get off the couch Toungue
Its good for the first week or so but then it just gets old...

Unless grandma is over... lol

Lmao!

Me and a friend took Wii into school before the holidays. We only ended up playing Wiisports and Warioware because everyone loved them, they really show off the Wii's motion sensing. Suprisingly no-one bashed the graphics they were having so much fun, and trust me,we have a few grapics hores at my school.
12 player Warioware FTW!

Anyways yer, most definitly pay the $15.

Yeah i thought that they announced that there was a Wii Sports 2 in development? Or am i mistaken?

^Yes, they've hinted at it a few times, but nothing official (besides the fact that it is virtually a given) has been announced.
