-Yeah, it's been a loooong time since I've been on here, but I got something great for you guys! Yes, it's even worthy of front-page news! (imo)-

First of all, PAX is the Penny Arcade Expo, held in Seattle, WA. (It was held last weekend). I live in the area, so of course, I spent the weekend there. All in all, it was an amazing event, I got interviewed by Gamespot, and found a couple unique things I will show here.

First of all is the exception error, which I think few people have ever really seen on any console, let alone a Wii. Keep in mind this happened on Geometry Wars, which is not yet released.

My buddy Rob saw it happen and snapped the picture. He also got one of the guy who was playing it when it happened. He sent the pictures to MaxConsole.
The other one was of a couple Wii consoles that Rockstar had setup in their "booth," which had custom "face-plates" on them.

You can find a few differences, but mostly take a look at the firewire port up front. Wonder what that's for? (BTW They had the new Table Tennis game playable on those consoles). I read it, I want to knwo though how you put a disc in... the plate covered up the slot 0_o

it's a Devkit.
But don't developers need to put in discs also? Lol, I just don't get it... but w/e floats their boat Toungue
nope, it has a hard disk or external storage, then when the time comes a disk is made on a computer from the external storage to send to the DVD press.
Very nice
yeah it is pretty much a dev kit. Like I mentioned before, there were two of those consoles with the plates on them, and they were each running Table Tennis (by Rockstar), which is not yet released. So for whatever reason they are there for, it could also be used as an added security for them so people dont walk up and try to eject one of their disks, if they are in there. The people that were working there in Rockstar's tent (yes it was more of a big tent rather then a booth) were not really paying any attention anyway. Behind their "curtains" they were demoing the new Midnight Club LA. They told me they would be in deep **** if any recorded video of the game got out on the net... Of course, I was recording when they told me that lol.
