Back in Febuary Nintendo announced that Neo Geo titles would grace Wii's Virtual Console in Japan some time in the near future (they specifically said "this summer"). Well, welcome to the future everyone.
SNK has unveiled the first wave of Neo Geo titles that will make it to the VC in September. Japanese Wii owners will see Fatal Fury, World Heroes, and Magician Lord this month with Fatal Fury coming on the 11th. The bad news is that Neo Geo titles will set you back 900 Wii points, 100 more than a SNES game and only 100 less than an N64 download.
Nintendo hasn't mentioned when or if Neo Geo games will be available for download outside of Japan, but it seem likely to happen next year.

I think it was pretty big Japan and had some titles translated into english but i doubt the US will see much of it...
i've never even heard of it til recently, and it just looks like a sega.
These were very expensive back in the day, but were real powerhouses. The games were very expensive also. They were basically the home version of Neo Geo's arcade games.
