Notes:
- Madden NFL 08 for the Wii is struggling, selling just over 17,000 copies this week and a grand total of 74,000 over the two weeks since its release. That is 2000 fewer copies than have been sold for the original Xbox, less than a third of PS3 sales and less than a tenth of sales for the Xbox 360...
- Wii Play becomes the first 2 million seller Wii game in America

Applause for Wii Play. I've heard Bioshock is great, so I can see why it's number 1.

I heard alot of good things about Bioshock until it came out, and then I heard alot of people complaining about it. I'm not sure if I'll pick that one up or not. (the lack of widescreen support on PC is what concerns me).

And yes, I'm completely surprised about Madden 08 for the Wii. I could have told you it wouldn't sell as well as the 360, but I really didn't expect it to be this bad. If it had online play, it would post much better numbers.

i thought bioshock looked quite good actually. when is it being relased in europe?

Bioshock in my opinion is just another over-rated 360 games, that is sold based only on the hype it got from all the 360 fanboys

I'm not a 360 fan at all really, but Bioshock does look pretty good and is one of the games thats tempting me to get a 360 as well for things like assassins Creed, RE%, GTA 4 and Banjo Kazooie 3.

Have you even played the game? BioShock is outstanding. Game of the year kind of material. That is why it is selling so well. Don't make these kind of comments unless you can back it up.

I bought Bioshock for the 360 and all i have to say it is a great game. they really did a good job with this one.

Complains about the protection system causing problems on PC's, the developers making the game more "realistic" by limiting the view on widescreen monitors, the "realistic" view causing people to get dizzy or sick, and the lack of non-linear play that was alluded before release.  

It looks very interesting but it's really hard to convice me to pick up a FPS.  I still haven't played Halo 2 or Doom 3 all the way through yet.  I will play every HL though.

Edit: also, it looks like i was mistaken. Apparently the Wii version does include online play. is it really that bad? I may pick it up just to see.

I hope Nintendo knows that Wii Play is only selling because of the free remote. It's a bad game otherwise. Tanks is worth the extra 10 bucks, however.

It does. I corrected myself somewhere, though it was here but I guess not.

I too believe Bioshock is an overrated 360 game yet again, but there's nothing I can do about the hype. I personally don't see anything so great about it.

I heard that it wasn't really bad, it just had some problems when it first came out, but EA quickly fixed the problem. When I saw IGN reviews The Wii version scored higher than the PS3 one while the 360 was only 2 tenths ahead.

I want to play Bioshock. I think it looks really fun and deserves the ratings that it gets. Good thing i have4 friends with 360s.

I have a friend with a 360, but he mostly gets sports games. Not a problem though, the ones he gets are fun.

they designed the game in widescreen. they then stretched the top and bottom for the full screen mode. i think people just started getting upset because they couldnt see more of their... character's hand?

the motion sickness thing is the first i've ever heard about it. the pace of the game is actually prety slow, and i believe it runs at 30fraps.
