Hey guys, just so you know, someone leaked WiiKey's long awaited 1.9b firmware update.  We'll have more information and a news article on this coming shortly, but I can confirm that it does indeed work and enables you to use your v1.2 config discs again (1.3 config disc has not been leaked).

Yeah, I'd like more info too if possible Joker... since I am hopeful this will stop Wii's from bricking.

simply unzip the file, take the version for your area and copy it to a dvd, then pop it in your wii and follow the instructions.
