Ive been a Harvest Moon for awhile so I decided to it pick up. Im glad I did because the game is just incredible. They brought in a few new things.
You can go in dungeons, fight monsters and befriend them.
Upgrade your skills as you master spears, swords and farm tools.
Of course you can grow crops, make friends and fall in love!
Theres so much more but if you need more info check out the review at

I read a lot about it in Nintendo Power. I'm a bit skeptical of it at the moment, but I'm sure that will change when I play it. I'll probably rent it first.
Had it since before it was released. xD
Easily the best Harvest Moon so far.
It makes up for the god forsaken Harvest Moon DS.
Attacking and farming with a hoe.. genius.
I also love that this actually has a storyline to follow and that you can follow it as fast or as slowly as you want.
The storyline is a bit shallow but its still is very nice to actually have one.
BTW I find it strange that Nintendo Power didnt give it an 8 at least. All the other gaming critics are loving it!
Ah, I saw no reviews except the Nintendo Power one. I should try it out.
Attacking and farming with a hoe.. genius.
Brilliant!
You can purchase swords, axes, and hammers to fight with in dungeons. And the dungeons themselves dont feel rushed or just like a side quest they were 100% necessary in completely the game and I found them to be a blast! Harvest Moon has always been a great series so Nintendo Power can go shove a wii mote up their ass....
Ya I got pretty far in that game (year wise but also on i think the 4th or 5th cave), It's a good game If you like Harvest moon you should defiantly get Rune Factory and/or give it a try.
I forgot about this one. I may get it later. I was really interested on the new spin to the farmlife. I do like Harvest Moon, but sometimes doing the same things over and over and over and over and over and over again in each new game gets booooooooooooooooooooring. So this looked like it may be a good refresher for HM.
I'm going to get this on the same day that I pick up The Phantom Hourglass as I'll be able to afford it then. I've always been a big fan of the Harvest Moon games and this looks like it'll be the best one yet!
I really like it, I always like a new cast of characters, and I am looking forward to the sequel immensely. Its nice to have the beast collection and dungeon-battling, it keeps things more interesting.
Eee, I finally got this.... erm, *cough* still on the first cave. It's definitely a big step-up from the last one, and I really look forward to the second even though I'm not nearly done with the first.
Shallow storylines are fine as long as you have one. So many deep plots just get annoying after a while. Get to the game! <3
I play the game now while I'm at lunch in college. >.0 It's pretty cool. Though I die on occassion.
My game froze and erased.. and since then I never picked it up.
Too busy with Pheonix Wright 3 and Dementium to give this another go at the moment.
yup. i gots it. but i dont really get it. yah do whatever you want? that makes me not know what to do... XD
my god this game is friggin' amazing. i'm having an incredible time doing everything in the game. the farming is as good as it was back in the days of the SNES version. going into the caves to mine is MUCH better than any cave in any other game. the combat isn't quite the best, but it's great using different tools to fight. suppose you're fighting a fire critter. instead of using a water spell, you can just bust out the watering can you use to water your fields XD. it's awesome. i'm not sure how difficult this is going to get there, and if you focus on just one aspect (fighting through the caves or making money) it's not hard to do either. i think there are 6 caves and i've gone through 4 already. the biggest purchase you make (the house extension) is 200,000g and i've already earned half that, and i'm a week into the 2nd season. maybe i'm just waffle-stomping this game, but i may have my extended house and beat all the caves before the end of the first year. after that, i'm not sure how much more there is to do
should i write up a full review?
