My schedule is pretty good, as I go Monday from 6pm to 830pm, and T/Th from 430pm to 830pm, plus I have one class that is online. Just to note, I wasn't aiming for night classes, but due to a transcript that took many weeks to come in from an out of state college, I wasn't enrolled until the very last minute, and it was either half day and half night, or all night classes, so I figured at least I don't have to wake up early now and drive there as often. The only downside is that I'm about three weeks behind in every class and I'm desperately trying to catch up.
Women in Classical Greece and Rome
Philosophy of Work and Art
Biblical World
Modern Era
Islam and the West
American Literature
Those have been my classes for this year, first three were last semester. Last three are this semester.
Interstellar Medium and Star Formation
Astrobiology
General Relativity
High Energy Astrophysics
Fundamental Particles
Project (mine involves categorising galaxies)
It's the last year of my Astrophysics course and it's about to get really tough. That project takes up half the time, so at least I don't have to learn so many different classes this year (last year I had 11).
English
Irish
French
Math
Biology
Geography
History
Religion
Gym
Will somebody tell me what all this English "2" and English "3" is? I'm confuzzled -_-
Will somebody tell me what all this English "2" and English "3" is? I'm confuzzled -_-
Yes, it tells you want "year" of English you are taking. English 1 is your first year (9th grade/freshman), while 2-4 is sophomore, junior, and senior years respectively.
A similar scale is used in universities, with English 101 being first year, first semester, 102 being first year, second semester, and so on. 200 level classes are generally sophomore level, 300 are junior level, 400 are senior level, 500 is graduate level, etc. In college, it is not unusual to take a class in a level outside of your classification (either up or down). Also, depending on your major, you may not be required to take all four levels of a type of class. For most majors, the first two years of college will consist of a broad range of subjects designed to teach you a little about everything, while the second two years of college are more narrowly focused on your course of study (as you can see from my class list above, my classes pretty much all deal with business, for instance).
I'll also point out that most of the college students in this thread are not using the numerical designations for their classes, just the actual class name. My CPA Law class, for example, is Accounting 411, while Business Finance is Finance 331, etc.
My classes are:
Work.
I have my masters, working for M+30, and eventually doctorate, so I may go to night school.
