Just found out my power supply is much lower then I thought it was so I'm looking for a good/inexpensive 500w or so power supply. The ones that are recommended for my HP 1630n computer are outrageous in price.

Here's a link to my current power supply CLICK HERE and need something that has similar specs but more power.

Thank you
I picked up a  Antec TruPower 480 at Circuit City for cheap a while back... $40 or less, don't remember exactly.

Edit, you can usually find cheap ones at newegg also. Make sure you get a respectable brand as some may overstate their actual abilities, and check the voltage sent on the rails to make sure it fits your needs (which are?)

here's that info you were wondering about joker.
I was more or less asking if you had any specific needs such as a power hungry video card, etc. Do you overclock? Some basic info about your PC and we can direct you to one a bit easier.
All I can say is, stay away from earthwatts. lol. WAY too expensive.

basically, I'll have a ATI TV Wonder 650 along with a HD2600xt 512mb card in the computer.

right now I'm checking out this power supply

here's a stupid question, but if my original power supply is a ATX12V then should every power supply have the same screw config in the back so it will fit to the back of my case...I seem to have enough room for the power supply I linked above, I just wanna make sure that I'll still be ablt to use the same screw pattern if both power supplies are ATX12V.

For all of its glossy glory, the Ultra X-Finity is ordinary beneath its surface. Voltage regulation and efficiency were average, and although cooling was adequate at the levels for ordinary usage, it was not good enough for sustained use under the heaviest loads. Its worst aspect is the noise; almost any other power supply we've tested in the past year will beat the X-Finity for low noise.
