well ive known this for some time but it just came to me ATM to share with you guys. This way is 100% legal and no risk. ive been talking to ppl over XBL and it seems like most of them do not know this here it is.

in short: what you do is create an XBL Silver gamertag, it will ask you for a windows live ID. Make sure the windows live id that you use is not being usedor has not been used for any XBL thing. then after u submit all your information it will ask you if you want to make you XBL silver account, and ofcourse say yes. It will again ask you are you sure you want to go ahead and make a silver acount, and once again put yes. then after saying yes twice (or three times maybe) it will say "you have been selected for a special offer 1month XBL gold upgrade free would you like this instead" put yes and voila 1 month free. its good for making multiple accounts or if your going to start a new account do it this way. the only catches are that you must put in an unused windows live ID.

try it out tell me if it works for you. if it does please dont hesitate to share it with others.

i knew it but... youre GS isn't saved or anything... so if youre a big GS fan this is just a waste. But GOOD for those who want to play online for free.

That's good for creating your account for the first time, but if you want to keep your game saves and achievements that won't work.

secondary account for what? the only reason why i made a secondary account was to d/l the japanese demos that the US doesnt get to see.

Too much trouble when I could just pay a meager amount and avoid the hassle.

oh well it might not be a major epidemic but me and al lot of the ppl i play with have more than 1 account. the "other accounts" are used mainly for boosting/screwing (and by boosting i mean playing with a low level to get matched up with low levels not the gay cheating kind) around as not to loose rank. back in the halo days i had 5 accounts going at a time as many of my real friends suck at halo so id play with them on my other accounts.

also there are many other reasons why other accounts can be useful IE cheating, more friends list, screwing around...

(right now i only have one account which just renwed itself for 59.99 and i plan to keep this account for a very long time. but still this is free xbl.)

u can creat your own windows live id when creating the accoumnt and the possibllilties areendless. heres some of the windows live id's that ive created using this.
