Ok, on my laptop to the right of the touchpad, there is a big sticker that says lists all my computers specs and stuff, do most people take that sticker off? or do they leave it on? It wouldnt bother me, but earlier there was a little dirt gathering at the very edge of the sticker, so i rubbed my finger nail along the edge to clean it off, and now the sticker has a rough edge to it and its really annoying.
Also if it will decrease the value if I remove it, it doesn't really matter because I'm not planning on selling it or anything
I think it is personal perference. I always remove every sticker that I can when I get something new.
Nah, that's usually for display. You can access all of that through the control panel later.
If anyone wanted that when they bought it from you, I'd slap them if I were you.
I know what you're talking about, I had a raw spot on my hand from typing on a school computer. haha
anyways, rip the dang thing off...now!
On my old computer, I refused to remove them, on my new one, I ripped them all off
Again, up to you. No one will judge you ¬_¬
It won't leave any crappy sticky residue though?
I think i'll leave the little vista/amd/ATI stickers on though, they are pretty

. The ugly big acer sticker is going right now... literally
edit: no sticky residue

Ah, even if there was, a little rubbing will take it right off.

yeah, I always leave the "Intel Inside" and AMD Stickets
When I build a computer, I like to stick all the stickers that come with all the parts on the case :>
Leave the AMD and Intel stickers, they're great. They show everyone a brief synopsis of how uber-awesome your PC is. Also, the longer you leave on the Acer sticker, the more residue it will leave
its a good thing I got it off now then huh
Hmm it seems like there is alot of blank space there now... I think im going to put a sticker of a unicorn there to make it look nice
ruffle. whut?
XD
that's totally awesome.
I work at a pawn shop and sometimes the stickers are nasty on the laptops and we take them off. Use Goo Gone (orange cleaner stuff) that you can get at the store. It's a miracle worker. It's under 3 dollars for a smaller bottle and it lasts for months. I use it on my dvds when the stickers on the labels are bad and to remove marker stains as well.
