After hearing the Helms Deep example, I want to see such an example in motion if this ends up being possible. Seriously, it'd be the ultimate satisfaction for the inner LOTR fanboy if I could partake in a battle the size of Helms Deep.

FIFA 08 has that.

It has be a pro mode which is a career mode but you play a single player.

Then it has an online mode where 20 people play at once, each person control's a player (expect from two keeper)

Convince them to FIFA 08, it has great features this time round, revamped I believe.

I think the 10 vs 10 is only for PS3 and 360 tho.

yeah, but the gameplay and controls were incredible for PES. i'll mention fifa 08 though. hopefully i dont get my ass kicked. Hehe

lol never played a soccer video game in my life but i'm sure it would be pretty fun multiplayer.
