thats what i was thinking TBH- if it is true, im sure itll be droped in price OR you can pick it up used at your local used gaming store.

well if i hear rave reviews about it then yeah ill be stupid enough to whip out my ameX card and buy this. if its lame, then screw it
I love the fact that you think that is expensive when it england it will be like £80 which is what $160?

Just a rough guess, if we get it for £100, there will be no where I;d even consider it.
pass

I was never too excited about it, and now this price just makes me even less excited
Way to much money.
pfft, nity is crazy. I bet they sell like 8 in the US. it will do well in japan no matter what because Nintendo is like crack to the Japanese gamer. I think nintendo is having a bit of a power trip.
NO WAY! too expensive!
As McCloud mentioned. That's in American.

I don't want to imagine what that would be in Aussie dollars. That's if its true of course, but if it is... Nintendo can get stuffed.
Its to much...maybe.
yes it maybe is too much for the experience but if you think the weight recognition software and pressure sensors and such arent going to be cheap as chips are they?

kinda off topic, but not quite... what's the exchange rate, USD to Aussie dollars? or even more simply, on the average $50 game (in the US) what do you pay, LMX, in USD?

Wow did not hear it was going to be that much money. I am not sure about the game and the board, especially since that is for a game and board that would cost more then Guitar Hero with the Guitar. Of course, the board will be used for other games but I am not sure if that is worth the money until I give it a try.

......guitar hero is like 89.99$ which is the universal price for all systems and DDR which comes with the mat is 69.99$

that doesnt make any sense, GH comes with a guitar and thats all you can play it with...one game

at least the balance board has potential for hundreds of games to play with the controller

so yeah its expensive but its still a better value than a plastic guitar

Yeah.. right.

remember DK Bongos?!

3 games... all the same.

I give this Wii Fit board a good 4 games tops.

ill take that bet...

Sure, it might spawn many games, but the bet is about GOOD games. Good luck there.
'good' is a relative term
good... as in it isnt so damn craptacular like many other casual games on the Wii.
it would take there being an amazing game for the balance board peripheral for me to even think of paying $70. i think it would be awesome if they created a silver surfer game that utilizes the balance board as well as the wiimote, but that will prolly never happen.

see what i mean: i like some casual games (rayman, wario, big brain academy) and would consider them good

that would be very cool, any surfing or skate game would be fun with the balance board...and if you could use the zapper too...wicked

hmm. i wonder if there could be a rail shooter game (like time crisis, sort of) where u lean on the balance board to go to different places, and use the wii zapper to shoot people.

that would be pretty cool

not sure if it would ever happen though
lets wait for the board to come out and see just how responsive it is...but

can you imagine co-op multiplayer...in a FPS...on motorcycles...
